https://www.millenniumheadstones.com/ – Today is Memorial Day in the U.S.A., a day of remembering (and honoring) the men and women who died serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. We often forget the myriad sacrifices of those in uniform. I wish during this time of reflection that in some future that we see the end of wars themselves. Until that my wish (and hope) on this Memorial Day is that our leaders place the lives of soldiers in harm’s way sparingly, carefully, and only for the most urgent of needs and for the highest of purposes. Perhaps one day we could also create a Memorial Day saluting those who move humanity forward, a tangential thought today during a brief moment of reflection on what might be good to honor.
